Exporting GPX & KML Files
Using the web app? Exporting Data on the Web App
Exporting creates a GPX or KML file you can send to friends or colleagues and open in almost any other mapping app. To send a link instead of a file, see Sharing Topo Maps+ Data.
How to export a trail or point of interest
Tap a trail or point of interest on the map, tap the share icon on its details, then tap Export.

How to export your own routes, waypoints, and regions
You can export a single item the same way as a trail: open it and tap Export. To export several items at once:
-
Select multiple items: Tap your account button, tap a list such as Routes, tap the More/Checkmark icon, then tap Select & Edit. Select the items you want and export them together.
-
Export a folder: Tap your account button, then tap Folders.

Tap the more icon on the folder you want (or tap and hold it), then tap Export.

How to export everything visible on the map
You can also export all of your saved data that's currently shown on the map.
-
Tap the Share button in the toolbar.
-
Tap Export KML or Export GPX.

Shown on Android — iPhone looks slightly different. -
Everything on screen is selected by default. Deselect anything you don't want in the file, then export it.
