Using the web app? Hybrid Maps on the Web App

A hybrid map is a satellite map with contour lines and outdoor mapping features added on top. Use it when you want the texture and colors of satellite imagery but still want precise trails and elevation features visible.

How to use Glacier Hybrid

  1. Tap the Maps button in the toolbar.

  2. Under Base Map, select Glacier Hybrid.

  3. The map switches to satellite imagery with roads and outdoor map features on top, so it's easy to read.

  4. To show contour lines, turn on Contour Lines under Map Style. They're off by default.
